Hatch in partnership with GIZ Sri Lanka, jointly co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development have launched Green Innovation Lab – a 3 month incubator program focused on improving the food supply chain by transforming Sri Lanka’s agriculture sector to one that is more sustainable and inclusive.
Through this program, participants will receive support with business development needs through design thinking methodologies, expert mentors, workshops, hands-on support, exposure to the Sri Lankan and global business communities and access to state-of-the-art digital fabrication technology and equipment at the Hatch Maker Studio.
Focus will be placed on entrepreneurs who are developing innovative solutions in the following 3 areas:
- Nutrition & Soil rehabilitation
- Sustainable Packaging
